Playgroup Festival 2012

Pleased to be working with our fellow Brightonians and long term friends, the Firefly team will return to Playgroup's idyllic Eridge Park (Nr. Tunbridge Wells Kent) installing and managing a hybrid site power distribution system. The temporary power distribution system will be designed with a combination of solar and diesel power generators in order to ensure that peak power demands are met while being conscious of onsite carbon savings, achieved from the use of sustainable sources of power.

In the words of one seasoned press reviewer: last year’s, and the first ever, Playgroup Festival, “delivered all the magic and silliness of Secret Garden or Bestival without the tent pile-ups and loo queues”. And, if you’re looking for a frame of reference, then yes, the people behind Playgroup love aspects of other music and art festivals, including The Secret Garden Party (where we also host an area), Sunrise Celebration, Shambala, Burning Man and Bestival. Yet, while few things are beyond comparison, The Playgroup Festival is a very regional and special take on all those farther flung events!
