Roker Pods

Working with Brighton based design and production team Millimetre, Firefly has been commssioned to design and install three sustainable electrical systems using a combination of solar PV panels and wind turbines into three 'Roker Pods'

Taking inspiration from the famous 'canon ball rocks' found along the base of the cliffs of Roker beachfront, Sunderland, the Roker Pods are large multi purpose, mobile eco pods.

Each pod will act independantly of one another and will therefore be individually powered with a solar/wind hybrid system distributed internally with a bespoke AC electrical system.
