Jagex Christmas Party
Firefly are proud to be once again working with Pebble Productions on this years Jagex Christmas party. This years party, with a 00 Heaven theme, is set within the Concept Centre in Bedford, a stunning venue with sweeping domes and curves. Firefly are providing all lighting equipment, design and operators.
Brighton & Hove Albion Xmas Party
Firefly are working with Pebble Productions to produce this year’s Brighton & Hove Albion Christmas party held at the Grand Hotel on Kings Road, Brighton. Firefly have been awarded the lighting contract to include design, operation and equipment supply. The charity dinner will again this year feature an auction in aid of Albion in the Community.
Rethink Rubbish Bus Solar Conversion
Firefly are working with East Sussex County Council to convert the county's Rethink Rubbish Bus's on-board lighting and computer systems to run on solar energy. The installation incorporates an interactive solar panel array designed to demonstrate the direct link between sunlight and electricity.
The Snowman Spectacular Fundraising Ball
Firefly return to produce Chestnut Tree House's 2009 Snowman Spectacular. Our congratulations go out to the whole team as the Chestnut Tree House won the Fundraising Event and Team of the Year award for the 2008 event from the Children's Hospices UK.
Sutton Christmas Lights
Firefly are providing the stage for the annual Sutton Christmas lights switch on held in the High Street. Kids favourites Pingu and Shaun the Sheep will be present to switch on the lights, shops will open late and there will be live entertainment in the High Street and St Nicholas Centre.
Brighton & Hove Business Show
Firefly will be attending the Brighton and Hove Business Show 2009 showcasing our range of renewable power products. This will be a unique opportunity to come and meet the Firefly team and find out how easy it is to start using renewable power at your events.
Green Business Awards
Firefly have been nominated in the Green Service Micro Organisations category at this years Green Business Awards to be held at Grosvenor House, Park Lane on the 3rd November.
The Green Business Awards uphold the most innovative, ambitious and effective initiatives by UK business for achieving environmental sustainability, and implementing smart business practice.
White Night
White night is a literal translation of the French nuit blanche, meaning "up all night", this is a festival quite unlike any other, using hours of the day most of us barely know exist. Brighton's White Night takes place on the night the clocks go back and sees thousands of people take to the streets for a range of artistic, cultural and just plain eccentric events.
Eco Energy Fair
The Eco Energy Fair is hosted by Transition Brighton and Hove Energy Group and held at Hove Town Hall. Their aim is to encourage as many people as possible to commit to using renewable energy and make energy savings throughout their lives. Firefly will be manning a stall explaining how our mobile solar generators work and giving tips on energy efficiency at events.
Brent Diwali
Brent Diwali marks the start of the traditional New Year for the Hindu, Sikh and Jain communities. Attracting in excess of 35,000 people, it is one of the largest Diwali celebrations outside India. ‘Diwali’ literally translates to mean ‘row of lights’ and this festival incorporates the theme of light to treat audiences to one of the most visually stunning parades in the UK.
