Fringe City is a free, outdoor, open-access arts festival organised by the Brighton Festival Fringe to showcase and promote Fringe events. Firefly provide power distribution for the Fringe City Food festival which features a chef’s theatre with cooking demonstrations from top local chefs including Aldo Zilli and Michael Bremner from Due South.
Now in its second year, Woodfest is a celebration of music and nature from the organisers of Truck set in the beautiful surroundings of Braziers Park, Oxfordshire. With it being a very eco-minded affair it is fitting that we are back to power the main stage on solar with performances from Brighton based Brakes and an acoustic set from Dodgy.
The Great Escape is England’s premier music convention featuring performances from over 300 bands across Brighton and a broad programme of talks and seminars involving key players in the music industry. Primarily a forum for new talent the festival now features big names such as Kasabian and the Maccabees rocking our seaside venues.
The Hothouse Revue is the new night on everyone’s lips in the capital, having been awarded a Smirnoff Night Vision bursary and talked up by London nightlife luminaries such as Simone Baird, the Social Club Editor of Time out.
Enough to make you wish you were a student again, the University of Sussex Students Union has pulled out all the stops and produced an event that reads like a fully fledged festival with cutting edge acts from across the spectrum.
National Association of Schoolmasters Union of Women Teachers' annual event is this year held at the Bournemouth International Centre. The whole event will be powered by Firefly Solar using the Orion system. This is a first for both the BIC and the NASUWT.
Brighton's premiere indoor festival returns for another monthly instalment. The night held at the Concorde 2 on the sea front features The Cuban Brothers and the Manjinga 7. A true Summer festival warm up. Firefly have been awarded the technical contract for all Playgroup nights and will provide, AV, PA,LX and Backline to the event.
The RSVP trade show is the UK’s largest event dedicated to the Corporate Party and Special Events Industry. One of this year's highlights is the Sense & Sustainability area. This morally sound area showcases some of the event suppliers offering services that are sustainable. Firefly will be exhibiting here and also powering the area using the Orion system.
It's that time of year once again where Brighton launches the world's second largest fringe festival to hundreds of venues around the city. This year the launch party is set in the venues of the iconic Brighton Pier. Firefly provide lighting and sound reinforcement to the reception, live room and VIP bar.
