AidEx Humanitarian Aid Expo 2012
Firefly are excited to be exhibiting for the first time at this year's AidEx in Brussels on the 24th-25th Oct, the only event in Europe for buyers and sellers of development and humanitarian aid.
Our products, including solar generators and the ZubaBox, plus our experience in designing bespoke renewable energy solutions, give Firefly huge potential to contribute to humanitarian aid by providing reliable off-grid and grid back-up power solutions almost anywhere in the world.
Showman's Show 2012
As a founder member of the Green Festival Alliance (GFA), Firefly are looking forward to exhibiting our solar and people-powered products as part of the UK’s leading environmentally-sustainable suppliers at The Showman’s Show 2012 in a new ‘Green Innovations Zone’.
In collaboration with the GFA, we aim to raise awareness about renewable and low carbon power and the many benefits that this can bring to the events industry.
Playgroup Festival 2012
Pleased to be working with our fellow Brightonians and long term friends, the Firefly team will return to Playgroup's idyllic Eridge Park (Nr. Tunbridge Wells Kent) installing and managing a hybrid site power distribution system. The temporary power distribution system will be designed with a combination of solar and diesel power generators in order to ensure that peak power demands are met while being conscious of onsite carbon savings, achieved from the use of sustainable sources of power.
We Love Green Festival
Firefly are en route to Paris for the annual We Love Green festival held in Parc de Bagatelle. This year we are providing our Youpower playground and software for the children's area as well as powering the lighting for the Main Stage.
The Kidzone children's area, produced by Firefly, will feature 6 bikes with PedGens, a WhirlyGen roundabout, TeedleGen see-saw and two LumberGens - the newest addition to the Kinectrics range of products.
Bestival 2012
Firefly is proud to be returning to Bestival to put the solar power into the Solar-Powered Bandstand.
With 2012 being the fourth year running that we have been invited back to Bestival, the Firefly team have proved themselves to be a hard-working and reliable collaborator to the multi-award-winning event, run by Rob Da Bank's highly successful and internationally renowned music company, Sunday Best.
Egham Royal Show 2012
The Firefly team have been getting ready to head out to the Egham Royal Show, which this year will be hosting 'The Smarter Living Area' in partnership with British Gas.
With our experience and expertise in renewable technologies, Firefly have been asked to install the British Gas Solar Canopies - solar powered charging stations for electric vehicles.
Bath Flame Celebration
Following on from the successful performance of our Kinectrics range in the 'Rings of the River' project, Firefly are undertaking a similar venture for Bath & North East Somerset Council's Flame Celebration taking place at The Recreation Ground in Bath on Sat 25th Aug.
Shambala 2012
Firefly will be returning to our old haunt at Shambala in August, providing full solar-powered technical production for Sankofa's acoustic stage. We are proud to be a part of Shambala's green vision, with our solar generators making an important contribution to reducing the environmental impact of a festival that aims to be 98% powered by sun, wind and vegetable oil.
Fieldview Festival 2012
Firefly are pleased to be heading to Fieldview for the first time in 2012 and will be supplying a sustainable technical production solution for the Village Stage. The specified system combines a super, energy efficient, lighting and loud speaker PA system, all of which will be powered by Firefly solar generators.
La Compagnie Carabosse - Milton Keynes International Festival
Understanding the production requirements for La Compagnie Carabosse after working with them recently at the Brighton Festival, this event will see the previous production grow with Firefly producing onsite power distribution and loud speaker PA system at the event.
